Tapson joins ACB as a Data Analyst. With over 13 years’ experience, Tapson is a committed and professional Research and impact evaluationexpert in the health sector. He has extensive skills in data visualization and utilization to inform policy design and advocacy. Prior to joining Tapson, has worked with the CDC Malawi HIV/AID Health Systems Strengthening, Service delivery and Quality Improvement. He has also worked with the Accelerating Malawi’s with the PEPFAR Laboratory Logistics and Infrastructure for QualitY (AMPLIFY) whose purpose is to test ART Viral load, TB and Covid-19. Can design and skillfully implement monitoring, evaluation, analyze and research strategies for the organization to include developing and refining processes. Has extensive knowledge of impact evaluations, data collection and analysis techniques to identify the potential impacts and outcomes from different strategies. Tapson is also an expert in use of ICT for monitoring, evaluation and research including cloud-based monitoring databases, DHIS2, mobile technology for data collection, and ArcGIS. Tapson combine skills in MNCH, HIV and PMTCT Option B+, TB/HIV, Malaria, programming, research and statistical analysis to uncover insights, communicate critical findings, and create data-driven solutions. Having a background in public administration, Tapson is very conversant with policy analysis and implementation monitoring. Tapson has also led a number of capacity building M&E initiatives and implementation funded by CDC/PEPFAR, DFID, UNICEF, European Union.
