Dr. Pierre SOMSE is a Public Health specialist with a Doctorate in Medicine and a Master’s in Public Health. Previously at UNAIDS, he served in key roles globally and championed inclusive health programs, notably supporting the LGBT community in Jamaica. As the Minister of Public Health and Population in the Central African Republic, he focuses on optimizing the impact of Global Fund programs and fostering collaboration with key health donors like GAVI and the World Bank.
