Ms Susan Mochache

Susan Mochache, CBS is the immediate former Principal Secretary (PS) in the Ministry of Health of Kenya. As the PS, she oversaw health policy formulation and implementation, health regulation, management of national referral health facilities, capacity building for health human resources and technical assistance to counties. Her key assignment presently, together with the leadership at the Ministry, was delivering Universal Health Coverage (UHC), which was among the Big Four Agenda of the Government of Kenya.
She held the position of Principal Secretary since her appointment by H.E., the President of the Republic of Kenya, in December 2015 and a reappointment to the same in January 2018.
