Djesika Amendah, PhD
Head- Policy, Research and Country Support

Dr Djesika Amendah is a health economist with over 16 years of experience in health economics, health policy analysis and research. Prior to joining the Africa Bureau, Djesika worked for Aidspan the independent observer of the Global Fund, the African Population and Health Research Center (APRHC) and the American Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In her work experience, Djesika analyzed Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria’s policies and grant implementation; led research projects on cost of providing medical care for an array of conditions; helped countries develop national health accounts.

Dr Djesika Amendah holds a PhD in economics from Georgia State University.
