Translator
Rose MEKU joins ACB as Translator. She is from Cameroon, and is an English-French Translator that has served in the Cameroon Government (Ministry of Water and Energy) for over 20 years successively as chief of the French Language Bureau, then Assistant Research Officer in charge of the French Language and finally Head of the Translation Unit.
Concurrently, she has been a civil society actor involved in the fight against HIV in particular and in this capacity, she worked as a civil society representative in several associations and networks.
She has also been a member of the Cameroon National Aids Control Committee and Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) of the Global Fund to fight Aids, TB and malaria.
In addition, she worked as part-time translation consultant with a number of development and health NGOs, such as Malaria Consortium-Cameroon Coalition against Malaria, Plan Cameroon, Hope for African Children Initiative, Cameroon National Association for Family Welfare and the African Constituency Bureau for the Global Fund.
